 | Now i am new, so dont chastize me if this has been talked about for hah...i have a question or two...What cd is My Little Town on, and did they write that when they were children..and honestly im still a little confused about it Was A Sunny Day and the sun is burning i dont understand them very well lol...is that still artie and simon? im just making topic or trying..dont let me die lol heh thanks .. mike |

| Has anyone heard joan baez perform The Boxer with paul..its not to bad how about some opinoins. And like alright i have a major question i have Paul Simon and art garfunkles greatest hits cd´s 2 of them and a paul simon one...now the question is i hear alot about this acoustic cd with just simon and the guitar..now is artie in this as well..and are there stupid synthesizers? they sound good and all, but do they do like My Little Town on acoustic..that be so kool i think...lol or scarbourough fair iwould Love to hear just that on acoustic and there voices..im just wondering thank you...mike |

 | You have got a lot of questions that I think you will be better off answering yourself as you develop as a PS/S&G fan. For starters take a look at the album section at this page and start buying one album at a time (just a suggestion). You might find the biography helpfull too as well as in general browsing this and other fan-sites (see the link page). I don´t mind answering some good questions and having great discussions in here, but I think some people might get a little tired of questions about easy-to-find facts that all true fans certainly know (like "what album is this song from?" - it shouldn´t take you long to find out for yourself). Just a thought - you are of course welcome to keep asking your questions here (it is afterall the place to do it :) ),but personally I would find it more fun to find the answers myself. Here is one, though: My Little Town is a S&G song made in the 70´s and on PS´s 3rd solo-album "Still Crazy..." from 1975. It´s on an AG solo-album as well, and no, I don´t think it was written when they were children(!?). |

 | Yes Søren. I agree. Mikey you are young. Sixteen I believe. And that alone is fantastic. I rhink it´s great that there are people becoming PS fans who weren´t even alive when GL was writen.
However, as a sixteen year Old full of schoolboy enthusiasm you will know the true knowledge comes through research and not just asking questions. And most people enjoy answering questions because they are difficult or because the answers are hard to discover.
By browsing through threw the various sections on this site, as well as others, and by reading various other documents you will find the answers not only to the questions you have but I am sure to many questions you haven´t even thought of.
Bear in mind also that half of the threads on the first page of the board have been started by you. After a while many will start to ignore a post by "mikey" if the name crops up too much. Especially if you are just asking very simple questions.
Sorry if this sounds patronising, it isn´t meant too. I would Love to be sixteen again and benefit from others advice. And you sound like a nice young man. So now do the research! |
