 | Last night i watched the Simon and Garfunkel in rome special, and it gave me chills, im only 16, but i dedicate alot of my guitar playing to there music, and i feel if it gave me chills over the computer, it would be mind blowing in concert..i still think garfunkel has it, and there duo on Bridge Over Troubled Water was groundbreaking....anne muray aint got nothing on these guys...heh but yea if you agree another concert would be good after watching the file share please. thank you.....the files on http://www.heartsandbones.it/ I know many people are behind paul 100% and want him to go on tour, but this is a magical group i feel comon...one more tour :) |

 | i would Love to see them live again. youre right, they are a magical pair.
with that said though, i must admit, i am really missing paul being by himself. he is the master-mind behind S&G and to see him alone is a beautiful and wonderful thing ... not to mention that his songs increased in depth and meaning after he went solo. |

 | no thanks
it´s really enough and it get´s more than boring to have the exact same songs and setlist´s every night.
I hope he is still creative enough after all these years to make something new.
You folks had 2 tours now, nearly everyone saw them 2 times in concert (110% same show) so I think YOU also should be open for something new. I get bored by the Paul Simon cash machine my friends, really, not a joke.
The highlight of this year was the Paul Simon / John Mayer show... sadly. |

 | I don´t think at all there will be an other tour, I don´t think at all they will record together again. And I really hope they won´t ! It was just playing with nostalgy (and money ? ;-)) and you can´t play with it a too long time or it doesn´t work anymore. Paul as we´ve many times said here is still able to give us wonderful new songs and albums, he´s still able to Surprise us alot... but sorry, not with Art and this tour was there to prove it. |

 | Well, despite the cash machine they gave a lot of people a marvellous reunion show, I´m glad I saw their show (only once *g*) but I have to admitt that I prefer Paul solo too.
According to some rumours I think we have to wait untill spring 2005 for a new PS solo album.
Which is a long wait of course but Paul will only release a new album if it´s good enough. I´m sure that he is still able to Surprise us. |

 | I feel the same as the others, and I didn´t see them *g*.
I find it unlikely they´ll be another tour. They may do the odd charity bash, as they have in the past. Which is fine as S&G are a good crowed puller, but Paul is also a damned good crowed puller!
also, the nostalgic road is Artie´s bag, not Paul´s. Paul will perform S&G songs more for the fans than for himself. Artie it´s both. And I really don´t see Paul wanting to continue down that road, he´ll get bored and I think he´d rather retire than continue churning out the same show each year JUST for money and nostalger.
Hugs

 | i agree with everyone that Paul Simon is a great performer..i agree so much he is my idol, but i feel they made better songs as a duo no matter who wrote them...il tell ya i mean comon paul dosnt do dangling conversation by himself or the immaculate scarborough fair, he does some jamacian humbo jumbo stuff that some is okay and some is just to odd for me, mabey its preference of music, after they split paul wasnt as sadley spoken as his words were he was all africanized, which i Love but i feel they did better music together...but paul rocks and if he went solo i would love to see him, but if you watch those dvd´s they put out together its more magical it seems they react with the crowd..in the paul simon dvd he just sings and thats it..so who knows...everyone is bored with there Old decent stuff it seems...i dont know weather half you people are saying they suck togetehr or there boring i have no clue...but heh theyve been a team since 57 and they made great music...i dont know i just dont like paul as much solo i feel because it seems he dosnt do any of there stuff i love to hear thats why i gues mabey its because im young not sure, but lol i love them together..or aparti guess im a supporter |

 | hi mickey, I don´t know your age but you say your young, so I take it I´m much older. Liking Paul solo I think is an age thing. when I was a teenager I loved S&G and hated PS (in the 70´s). Then as a young idealist & soppy adult I loved AG (sorry!!) and as I became more a realist and a bit cynical, better read etc since hearts & bones I´ve been an out & out paul fan and can´t wait til his next album. |
