Yeah, sadly enough Paul worked in the mid seventy?s on the soundtrack. It?s a fortune producer Warren Beatty rejected ?Silent Eyes? and ?Have A Good Time?. A version of ?Night Game? is in the movie. It was said that it was one of the bonus tracks on the new version of the ?Still crazy? album in the Studio Recording box, but it is not.

As a kind of defence: Paul said ?yes? to work on the film when Beatty explained to him that he wanted to make a movie with below the surface a exposition of political deceitfulness. Read: the way the republican Nixon handled things (Watergate!). It appealed to Simon?s liberal conscience. But the final result showed that the political part was really deep down the surface: it?s a story about the sexual mores of a LA hairdresser and on the background there is Nixon?s 1968 election victory.
