  | Paul Simon has been seen in the recording studio together with "Swamp Dogg"
If you do not know Swamp Dogg (like me), check out some of his youtube videos.

He seems to be a very creative guy, also in his late 70s, comming from soul / rhythm and blues.
Sorry, there are no more details about what they are recording.

 | A year or two ago he said that though he thought he was done, he had a dream that inspired him to start writing one more song. The only details he revealed about it were that it would be long and mostly focused on the lyrics. |

  | Paul mentioned some more info about the song he was writing at a Fundraiser for Governor Jay Inslee last year.
" The moderator pulled a question from those that had been submitted and asked if Paul is now writing. To my pleasant surprise, he said yes. In January 2019, he woke from a dream (I'd love to know what Paul takes before bedtime with these fantastic dreams) and he had been hearing a song in the dream. He wrote down the title, which he says he rarely does. It's called "Seven Psalms." He felt like the song came to him in the dream. Came to him from...? From some other place. He finished the melody exactly a year later and realized it was the 25th anniversary of his father's death. He's working on the lyrics although he says it's more like not working on the lyrics. He said the words seem to come to him in 20 minute minute spurts between 3:30 and 4:30 in the morning. He doesn't want to try to "work" with them too much because he says "they're really good."
thanks to Roy Dripps for the info |
