 | On Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 8:00 till 9:00 pm ET PAUL SIMON will give a (virtual) musical performance and conversation. Event registration closes at 8:00 pm ET on October 7th. Tickets are available from $21 and onwards.
You can watch it save from home, but in Europe it's in the middle of the night, so I hope someone will have the opportunity to watch.

  | To my understanding it is not possible to sign up there as non-US citizen Hakan.
The money goes to a democratic party / senators, and if you spend money you have to register (so that no one can spend more than 500$ I guess), which makes it impossible to spend money as a European / non-US to an us-american senator.
(I have this information from Phil who is US-american but had problems to sign up for the event because he lives outside the US right now)
Have you been able to sign up Hakan? |

| You need a US phone number, and if you live outside the US the ask you to type in your passport number (US)
That what I was told.
Lets just hope they upload the clips where Paul plays 2-3 songs later on youtube.... if they do not want our money :-) |

For some live clips I would need subtitles :-)
Btw the Interview He did in 2002 for father and daughter nomination on the good morning america Show was extrem funny.
I think the Best here was the age discussion about his upcomming 50 birthday... When He was still 48 :-) that was so exactly Paul Simon.
I guess some people would Not geht his Humor on the first sentence and the find him very unfriendly or cold. But He is always so funny. |

| Yes Michiel sorry the interview that I thought was funny was the S and G one in 2003. . I don't think I have seen the 2002 Father and Daughter one Bodo mentioned . Glad you enjoyed the video. Paul has a great sense of humour ! |

| IT was Paul alone. He only talked about father and dsughterand the nomination.
It Was very funny because He was such in a good mood and the good morning American Interviewer is mike nicholls wife. So when she asked why Mrs. Robinson Was not nominated for a Grammy Paul said : IT was Mike Nicholls fault. And they both laugh. Mike forgot to Fill out the forms Paul then explained.
