 | Starting today, there will be a new S&G documentary in 5 episodes on Dutch television. The makers are Nick and Simon, who are Dutch singer celebraties also covering S&G material in their shows, but they are famous in the Nehterlands on their own. They will visit the neighbourhood in Queens where S&G grew up, also their school where in the aula they performed Hey Schoolgirl. Also they will meet various people who know and knew S&G, like for instance the promotor of The Concert in Central Park in September 1981. The cliffhanger of this documentary will be.. shall they meet them? Nick and Simon will also perform various covers. Should be fun to watch this documentary for every S&G fan, PS fan or AG fan.

Alas no picture of the bathroom where Paul played Sound of Silence...
And they had the possibility to film inside Art's childhood home and talk to the owner. He showed a cardboard box unintentionally left behind by the Garfunkels when they moved. The box contains letters and other childhood memories It's a real gem. |

 | This summer Nick en Simon played a 'coronaproof' open air concert in The Netherlands. They also played some S&G-songs and Woody Harrelson happened to be in the audience. He made a video of Homeward Bound and sent is to his friend Paul Simon, who in turn sent a videomessage to Nick en Simon. It's all on youtube (except for the PS-part only in Dutch):
