Can the DVD be played on any machine do you think or only in the states or has that all gone now? Definitely a must by but whether to get the combo or not - already have in the blue light, bought at the concert in corona:))) but my CICP CDs probably need replacing:(( ! Great to have some new Paul Simon news though. Thanks Bodo (& Phil)

For Region Code: I have No Idea. But I believe IT is Region 0 what means all regions.

I believe that because IT is Sold by the PBS TV Station. The Webster Hall DVD 2011 was also Region 0. Was Sold by a Special TV Station Back then..

PBS will Not Release the DVD for Europe or Asia too... So I Guess they do Not think about stupid Region Codes. :-(

Yes, region 0 works wordwide.
But I'll wait until it is available in Europe.

I ordered one. With the 30% off code it was around 17 Euros incl. shipping.
I do not play DVDs anway. So does not matter what region it is :-D
Have to rip it on my old computer (there I can change the region code for the DVD reader)

Oh, and I really have no idea if or when they will release this thing in Europe.
At the moment it seems to be a PBS Fundraiser item.
Hopfefully it really includes 144 minutes and ALL extra tracks.
Could be that an official release by Sony will have a different tracklist/runtime.

I doubt that they will include the second performance of "You Can Call me Al" (where Chevy Chase repeated his video stunt).

"Cecilia" was also omitted from the VHS release (probably because Paul almost fell during this performance).

Hakan, Phil (from amps) said they had a TV advertisement for that concert on PBS TV, and they first mentioned that it will be the complete show before unseen songs. Then during that advertisement they showed a list of those songs.

The total runnint time of 144 minutes, or 2 hours and 24 minutes, promises a lot.
The listing of only 23 songs makes me a little bit curious.

For sure they have ADD Cecilia this time on the DVD (it lists 23 songs)

Anyway, that does not explain 24 minutes more running time, compared to the VHS

Maybe Michael Breckers solo is an EXTRAS.
and YCCMA with Chevy too?


I have a original copy of the broadcasting somewhere (on VHS), but never checked exactly how many songs he played. Was it 25? (cause most bootlegs have 26 songs, with one more reprise after Late in the evening and before The Boxer) - Gone at last for example or Homeward Bound...

there is one VHS copy for sale on amazon - for 99Euro!!
When I tried to buy from the PBS website - it only offered Canada and US as countries for the address - did anyone else have an issue with this?
