I think Brenda's posted the link on Facebook - transposed for your reading pleasure here. A back to basics album with Roy Halee - sounds great. Could that be in addition to the modern remakes album with Roy Halee??? I very hope so!!!

 | Actually it is old news from before the last tour. It will consist of new recordings of old, lesser known, songs.
Anyone think Simon also will record a new song or two? I wouldn't be surprised if he did. |

  | It is interesting that he "can not say much about the concept" - as Simon himself clearly said a few months ago he wants to re-record some of his older unknown songs from the 70s and was open for suggestions.
I think people around Simon are always shy to say anything or to bring up his name or any insights.
I think a recent post by Jim Oblon was about Simon, but he just named him some "old rock veteran"...? Could be someone else too, but how many old rock veterans selling millions of songs does Jim Oblon know...too many I guess ;-) |

 | I remember the news he would record an album with his wife. Did not happen.
In fact Stranger to Stranger has a running time of less than 40 minutes as SBOSW.
So we should be glad for every new song we get as we were with Slip sliding away, Stranded in a limousine on Greatest Hits etc. Or Ten years given away for Sting. |
