  | hi, does anybody know the names of the band members of the 2016 tour? They are fantastic, especially the pianist, and i am sure they make great music elsewhere. but i cannot find their names. they were not intruduced.

1 Mark Stewart - guitars. saxophone.wind instrument.vocals
2 Bakithi Kumalo - bass ,percussion, vocala
3 Vincent Nguine- guitars, vocals
4 Jamey Haddad - percussion
5 Jim Oblon - drums,guitars, vocals
6 Mick Rossi - piano , Hammond organ, Harmonium, percussion, celesta
7 Andy Snitzer - saxophone, synthesizer, flutes.
8 C J Camerieri - Trumpets ,French Horn
9 Joel Gomez - Accordian, Guitar

yes, he should introduce his band or at least post the names on his official website.

| A few people (including me ) have commented about it on Paul's Official FB page but the people who run it rarely react or reply to any comments. There sadly have been some reviewers too who have mentioned it. I really do not know why Paul stopped doing it. I just know the band members from following Paul for a long time. Last time they were listed was on the booklet you could purchase at the Simon / Sting concerts. though Joel Gomez replaced Bruce Sunpie Barnes on this tour. |

Since Paul stopped introducing the band names I could not find out who the 2 new guys are.
Still miss Tony :-( Yeah, the new guy on accordeon is good, very good and a funny person, dancing around more.
I think at the moment the only person to be introduced is Vincent, right? A little bit unfair.
I would assume that some, like Andy Snitzer, also have a big fan-base in the Paul Simon community.
I really wonder why he just stopped introducing them. Everyone has their solo, so there is time to say the name. |
