Paul CBS interview to be broadcast 6 Nov 2016 .
Simon has no plans to pull back on touring, either, although he admits it is something he’s thought about.

Thank you Brenda.

Uh, well now I see the problem Paul has: How do you end a music career/life(?) beautiful? There are not many options I guess?
It is a little bit late for him to die young (at 28). But I would not say that is beautiful anyway.

Many careers did not end perfect, Elvis, Lennon, Michael Jackson, Prince :-( , or even old legends like B.B. King just did miss the point of retirment a little bit.

Who quit just at the right time?
Maybe Tina Turner did?

The trick is to survive your music career.

This reminds me on one of the good ideas in the movie One-trick Pony: the game about late Rock and Roll stars and of course the song the late great Johnny Ace.

Toots Thielemans retired when he felt to be not good enough anylonger. If Paul will do so at the same age, we still have much to expect.

Has Joni Mitchell retired?

At Ziggo Dome/Netherlands Paul gave a great concert adding "Wheels" to the set. Only some hundred very bad places were not occupied, the capacity is 17.000 people.

Interesting look at Paul's collection of instruments. Commentator somewhat confused as to who wrote the S and G songs ! "As a team they wrote anthems for a generation "

Linda ronstadt had to retire because of illness, but that does not count.
Artie already missed the point of no return.
Tracy chapman somehow seems to have retired, although she said she is just fine not doing anything.. She is too young.
Phil Collins now wants to come back... Not a good idea.

If mike stipe from rem stays retired it maybe would be the perfect time... But He has ambitions to do something somewhen He said...

And now something locally just for me and klausi. Peter steinlechner from the zillertaler Schürzenjäger just retired somewhen at the age around 57, no further ambitions, family life. And this Band was big, playing in Front of 70.000 at their best time. I think He found the best Moment. One Band member found the Young zillertaler Schürzenjäger now... Waste of energy...
