The Show was really great with great Players and Singers.
90 percent of the instruments were guitars. Paul would have had more percussion, drums, trumpets etc.
But what is really striking that Bob Dylan was not there. Baez and Dylan were regarded as musical pair for many years. Of course they were not a duo, but one should think that Dylan would appear at this event.
So Paul was the guest star instead.
He sang the Boxer with Joan before and made a very nice contribution with his Graceland troup on one of her albums with a mix of two old songs giving them a fresh sound in the late 80`s. |
