 | Interesting, thanks. A lot shorter than his usual concerts. Does anyone know why? |

  | Hm, I see 22 (21) songs, so why shorter? New Orleans had 19 songs.
I think 21 is the normal length now since a few years.
Too bad they did not play Duncan. Why? The El Condor Pasa Intro was recognized by everyone and people loved it. |

  | So I wonder what the setlist will be at the first REAL concert (not festival)
He said he will play 3 songs from his new album. Now he is down at 1.
I imagine he was very unhappy with the performance of "The Werwolf", but he really should give it a few more tries. If the sound is bad the audience will never like a new song.
BTW. I am surprised how much he altered the setlist just in between those 2 shows.
HE kicked out all the S&G hits, played at least 7 different songs.

 | Just Wristband from the new album?? That feels a little disappointing, Paul's liner notes for Sranger to Stranger make it clear that most of the songs have been work in progress for quite a while now, i was hoping to see at least 3 or 4 of them make it into the setlist. Maybe they'll be introduced gradually as the tour progresses..... |

  | Paul talks about the set list for the tour in this Rolling Stone article. Mention 3 songs from the album he hopes to play. Festivals with noisy crowds not the best venues to introduce new songs. Should be a couple more when he plays the theaters.

 | His voice in the live appearance lost some quality compared to the last shows. He can shake hands with Art :-). It's a pity that he does not play more songs from the upcoming album, which I can't understand since it was introduced as among his best albums ever. Maybe that's only a sales line.. anyhow nice that he's touring again, but I'm not sure whether I will visit his show again after 15 shows that I saw, since I agree with former forum posts that the renewal in his setlist is too low.

  | No his voice is fine Michiel.
You judge the musician, but it is the sound quality at those venues. |

 | Well, I will listen again. I tried to listen through the bad venue sound quality to judge his singing quality, but I will give it another chance:-) |
