BTW: I think your voting is somehow too long... not very motivated to vote 22 rounds a.s.o. You know, we live in FB time. This website was somehow cool in the year 2004...but now people demand much more comfort. It is nearly impossible for a single person to produce such websites. People are used to social networks and are asking for all the applications these pages have.

I remember Joey Berger did that voting thing too back in the year 1999. wow...can you imagine...1999, on "Lasers in the Jungle" website.

Although much less people had internet in that time, there have been a hundreds of votes. The Boxer won, I would say with at least 250 votes. It was a close tie to another song, think Still crazy...hm. So at least 400 people voted there, but in fact, I did not know any person, no faces, no forum or messages ;-) Guess a lot of Ampsters have been there.

But everyone here on this page already voted a few times on his favourite song, in the past 15 years ;-) And today I think you do not have to have a favourite. It changes over time, it changes with your mood. And those votings are in the end always dominated by a big hit, S&G hit, simply because also people which only know 10 S&G hits and 5 Paul Simon songs will join in to vote.

Oh, now I remember I had a similar voting on the first version of this website (that was all red website). Back then in 2001 you could vote which song Paul should play live, one that he hasn't played ever or in a long time. Think ALL around the world was the winner.

Lets agree that Cars are Cars might not win here? too bad, I start to like that song.

I don't understand at all how this voting is handled... But on the other hand I don't care!
The whole setup is just stupid and ridiculously over complicated. The result of this mess will prove... what?

Some rude replies...I wish I hadn't bothered now. I did post the game when I first started to give you an idea of how the game works but no one was interested, it's just meant to be a bit of fun and nothing serious or official.

I won't post in this thread any more now I know how you feel. I'll add in your votes Brenda. :)
