 | Actually saw the performance! Quite by accident was waiting for xfactor to start:/ (the secret confessions of a Paul Simon ).
Wasn't the best rendition if SOS I've ever heard

 | Not bad but not as good as it was like before his vocal problems. He seems not to hit some high notes like he did before.... But than he is also 72..... |

  | Well, for a good accoustic song you need a good guitar player too ;-)
His voice is better now than a year ago or so.
But I presonally do not like how Art emphasizes the lyrics, he seems to be much too fast on that song, there is no tension at all...I do not feel the "sound of silence"
Here you feel it

  | Agree Bodo. There is no emotion in the performance.Art is singing"The Boxer " very fast too. It is as if he wants to get the song over as soon as possible. |

 | This is what I already mentioned. Unfortunately his voice has not recovered yet. I wonder if it will ever again. It is really not that good. Brave that he's trying. Pauls voice is also not what it has been, due to aging, but his voice is much better (relatively spoken) than Art's, compared to the voice in the old days.... |

 | Art's voice doesn't sound like it is 90 percent as he claims. I agree that Paul's voice has some vulnerability now, but he has kept much more of his original sound. I thought he sounded better with Sting than the tour before. Perhaps that was because he only had to sing about half as many songs. |
