 | Prob a long shot, But has anyone been lucky enough to meet Paul outside a Concert venue?
Im hoping to get tickets for the O2 in London, I believe the stagedoor is hidden away though.
Would be great to be able to meet him!
I know there is 99% chance of this not happening!

 | Both times I met him it was outside of a concert. Once at a movie premiere and the other time (20 years later) at a gym (although this was at a hotel where he was playing). He was very polite and kind both times. |

  | Richard, Met Paul outside Sydney Entertainmen Centre in 2013. Waited for a while with some other fans after the show. Paul came out and was walking away from us in the opposite direction to his car when he spied us and came over to talk. Signed everyone's request for autographs and talked to us all for quite a while . I got a handshake ! He was very pleasant and friendly and interested in places to visit in Australia. He talked about visiting with Artie in 2009. My autograph is on 4.00 minutes.

  | Ljay, I have a fb friend who missed Paul at Newcastle and Sydney and was so disappointed she bought a ticket for Auckland in New Zealand. Flew over for the concert ,found where Paul was staying and was at the hotel after the show with a couple she met at the show. Had a great talk with him and some great photos. One of the girls was Thai and Paul mentioned his youngest son had been in Thailand recently. She said Paul
was very pleasant. It was the last night of the tour so he was probably very relaxed. |

  | Ok, spy hints for you.
You could try the 5star US brand hotels (like Hilton, 4-seasons) - go to the lobby and ask if Mr. Mark Stewart (or other band member) already checked in... then you know they are here. Of course you do not ask for Paul Simon, that would be stupid. Wait outside, usually the band members are walking somewhere in the noon or afternoon. Maybe you have luck and they give you a backstage ticket ;-) |

 | Although if the clerk at the hotel reception is 30 years or younger, a name like Paul Simon should sound as inoffensive as Mark Stewart.
Just kidding... |

  | I met him and got his autograph after a concert, at the back entrance. But that was in 1975, things may have changed ;-) |
