I must admit I do not like that this one-sided stories are released to the public always by Mr. Garfunkel. Does he think Paul would admire reading it and give Art a call for excuse? Question would be what kind of excuse that wold be: Sorry my friend that I asked you a favour that you didn´t want to do for me, it was so obviously that I could not ask a good friend for that...
But the interview really shows what a strange relationship they have. Asking one a favour is ok, even if it out of this world you can ask your friends. Saying you can´t do that is also ok. But blaming the other one about asking this favour... somehow strange.

 | I agress with your thoughts, even if this statement was far from the harshest I've read. In fact I can think of several interviews with Paul Simon that was more bitter. But like you I don't understand their relationship very much. It's quite tragic that they still can't have a "normal" friendship. |

 | I am happy about Art doing cncerts again after 3 years of heaving problems wit his vocals!! Hope he is doing well!!
I think he is not to happy with this Sting tour. After all Sting is singing a few S&G songs!!! Than again i still see paul performing with Art again anytime soon. Paul alwys said he would hope to do a few concerts qith Arts again! |

| Yeah, but he had a kind of operation some years ago and he said it is fine now. This wasn't that long ago, either before Surprise or before YTO? He can play guitar much better now than duringe the Graceland / ROTS shows. |
