Art is going on tour again. The tour will kick off jan 29 in franklinn and will end at march 1 in Palm Beach.

| So the rumors will go again about a possible tour with Paul.....:
Simon & Garfunkel toured Australia, New Zealand and Japan in 2009. They had a summer tour booked in 2010, but were forced to postpone the dates due to Garfunkel's vocal ailment. It's unclear whether or not they plan on rebooking the shows. Paul Simon is playing Americans arenas with Sting this spring.

  | I think these are good news. I felt sorry for Art when he lost his ability to sing.
Although when I think by myself he somehow already lost his real shimmering Art Garfunkel voice somewhen back in the 1990s.
I have nothing against occasional S&G reunion shows, the showbiz needs something like that. I guess they will finish the Canadian tour if there is time. |

 | I agree with Bodo-- Paul seemed sad for Art too. You could almost see Paul saying to himself, 'wow, what if that happened to me?' I hope this inspired Paul to take even more care of his voice and guitar skills, both of which have remained remarkable over time, no doubt due to his efforts to maintain his abilities. By the way I purchased the new McCartney album (New is the name) and it seems to me that McCartney's voice is finally sounding quite old. |
