  | Thats surprising now, at least for me, as I did not know they "dated" till 1989...
Wasn't Paul already together with Edie at that time? I always thought the SNL show when Edie and Paul first saw was somewhen in 1987/1988 |

  | They did meet occasionally, Bodo, up until Paul married Edie. I remember reading Carrie saying the new Mrs Simon was (understandably imo)not too happy with this arrangement and it stopped soon after Paul and Edie married. |
