 | A video of the whole introduction ceremony was posted on youtube. Up to now I only knew the speech by Steve Martin. Maybe someone else hasn´t seen this yet.

 | Ah, that was Elizabeth Taylor next to Paul. There was a nice moment after James Taylor appeared and talked to Paul, a hand from an old lady was backslapping Paul. I thought that must be his mother. :-) |

I was scrolling trough the video, and at 17:33 a hand from the left side comes and touches Paul like "well done my boy" - I thought maybe his mother was sitting there |

| Bodo. It was Elizabeth Taylor's hand that came out and touched Paul! She was sitting next to him on his left.Paul's mother was in the audience though. I am sure there used to be a photo of her on the pictures section but I cannot locate it now. If I can find it on my computer I will upload it. Nice shot of Adrian too. |

Yes I know now ;-) I remember Pauls mother was there (the small lady with some funny glasses). So I thought for a moment it was his mother, touching her small boy Paul. Pauls wife is sitting behind him.
(I did not see Elizabeth before in the video)
It is funny how Mrs. Taylor is touching a 60+ year old musician like a young boy :-) "good done Paul"
yeah I wonder where that picture is gone. I searched for it yesterday too. There are only a few pictures from Belle Simon around.
This one might have been lost last year when the website crashed. Now TDOM is also down and we can not find it anymore. |
