Think Rosie has it exactly right. The problem is that you are posting stuff as news when it isn't. By definition the word news means something that is new and hasn't been seen before.

This Forum is not a place to be when you are a newbee. This was the same on the S & G Board. Both are places for

"Old Friends"

and therefore maybe for some old members it is difficult to accept a "Newbee" because they know everything about Paul Simon! Just continue posting in this way and you will be safe in your "safe heaven"!

Rubbish!! There is nobody here who doesn't accept newcomers. However most new people take the time to look through the site and see what has been posted before before jumping in and posting loads of old stuff. No one was rude to you and merely informed you on the best way of posting which to your credit you seemed to take on board. However in the last few posts you seem to have taken a different tone and seem to be trying to belittle people because of their age. This forum is all inclusive and welcomes new members whatever their age. All are treated with respect.

May I ask why you were thrown off the other message board?

Sorry Bodo - I really didn't want to start joining in any arguments (I like a quiet life!) but Corry, Menneke, Helleborus - what IS your real name? What is this 'Bye Bye Love' to Rosie? Rosie may be young, but she has always taken a big part in this forum and is VERY knowledgeable about Paul Simon. You have said that you are really a fan of ArtG, not Paul Simon, so maybe you should enjoy just browsing the forum and reading the posts, instead of 'finding' things which the long-standing forum members already know. I have been a member of the S&G Message Board for many years (as are a lot of other people on Bodo's forum) - and it became a bad place recently with all the nasty posts. Luckily, that has been stopped, and it's a nicer place again, but I would be very upset if this forum went the same way!

I intended to post the whole Paul Simon concerts of his tour last summer in Europe on this forum but I stop putting up any stuff on this forum anymore. So you will get back a
peaceful forum and have a nice time with each other in the future!

But we've been keeping up to date with the concerts. alot of us have been at the concerts and have submitted videos and reviews. Look at the previous threads and then feel free to post videos and reviews that haven't already been put up. But they're not news! they are new to us but not news. but hey what do I know? I'm only 21 ;)

Rosie: when I had the age you now have I was so really convinced to know the entire world: be glad to be young and enjoy it! No: I do not come back with posting: this all has made me too scary to put up any topic on this forum in the future!
