I have to re-think about the membership options on that page.
For the last years we just had full registered fans from the fan-database AND so called excessive fans.
Excessive fans had to add something to the biography or collaborations to become a member of this area - it was usually not too much work - but I had to hand check these entries (and yes, I forgot about it in the end, I think we had no new excessive fans for years...).

Now we have the following:
1) facebook members
2) fan-database entries
ad 1) If you ONLY registered via facebook the only section you are allowed to access is the FORUM.
That should prevent us from strangers who just come and add some strange advertisement in the news, articles or everywhere else.
ad 2) if you fill out a fan-database entry at 60%, you can also add to the biography, upload pictures a.s.o.
ad 3) if you have a complete filled out fan-database entry, you are allowed to add concerts, delete videos...(well thats somehow an admin account)
I am not sure how we should manage the EXCESSIVE FAN section.
1) Should everyone who has a complete filled out fan-database entry have access?
2)Should we hand-pick the people? They could post a request on the forum and admins could give them access. We could combine that with a contribution
- add some songs/lyrics
- write a sentence for the biography
- upload 2 pictures
- add 2 youtube videos
- upload an article...
Whatever: People can just post their request on the forum and tell us what they have contributed - and then a long time member can click on their name and give access.
I know this all sounds complicated, but somehow the excessive fans section should be special...

| Ok, so I like the last idea I had.
If someone wants to join the excessive fans section he has to add something and ask for access at the forum. Long time members can klick on his account and activate the person. |

 | Bodo, I agree with your forms of membership. Good idea that long time members can give access to serious new members. If you want my help with keeping the forum clear of double posts etc. like I used to do let me know, I will be glad to do it. |

 | Bodo I really would love upload things and help you all in make this place always better.
But considering Loreena and co are still eating my computer ( not literaly, but the money I feed then would me more than enough for a good one plus net) I just CANT DO IT!
Plus, there's no news about Paul here in Brazil,the last time I saw him mentionated in papers was a LOOOOG TIME AGO and nothing really significant
Just hope you folks can click my name the day I need get something from that former PRIVATE CORNER... |

| Sure Ans, I will give you that rights again, I just have to check your fan-database ID.
As I have saved now nearly the whole forum and I am able to rebuild it, I could also give some people their old fan-id(number) - so they forum entries are connected to the right person. I am not going to do that for hundreds of people, but for the main members it wouldn't be a problem.

 | I just re-registered. I don't get to visit the site as often as I used to in the past but I still enjoy it whenever I do. What happened that everything got lost? If possible please give me my old number back. And I'd also love to get access to "excessive fans". I know I have uploaded pictures several years ago, does that count? |
