 | Paul Simon and wife Edie Brickell?s duet ?Pretty Day? will be included in the Every Mother Counts 2012 compilation. The CD will be available at Starbucks May 1-29 and will benefit Every Mother Counts, an advocacy and mobilization campaign to increase education and support for global maternal mortality reduction.
This song might give an first few on how the first collaboration album by Paul Simon and his wife Edie Brickell might sound. Although it is not clear if that song will be included on a further release. Other sources just state it as a Edie Brickell song with Paul Simon background vocals.
Paul and Edie will eventually release a full album within the next one or two years, recording sessions already started in early 2012. The album might be a selection of children songs they played to their own kids. There is no info if these songs will be written by Paul and Edie or if these are cover versions of famous children songs.
As the song Pretty day is not available outside of the USA you can listen to it here now.

 | Nick, it does work. Click on the ´play´ arrow underneath the picture. I had to press it 2 or 3 times before it started. |

 | Yeah thats really not a very good solution. It ONLY works when you click on the small arrow. The "click to play" text is for nothing... |
