 | Yes there is a lot more in there. excerpt from an interview with Edie last week with Mike ragogna
Paul (Simon) and I are making a little duets record together, and it features a lot of that finger style picking guitar, and that´s been a real lot of fun. I mean, I can see how he really knows how to make a record, and it´s fascinating to watch him throw something so simple together and make it grow into this sonic landscape that is gorgeous. So that´s been exciting, and that´s creatively what´s going on |

 | I only had the time to listened to it once now so I can not really judge. But the song definately sounds much more like Edie than Paul (to me). I think it should not be compared to Pauls solo work, it is more easy listening stuff. I try it again (isn´t there a mp3 somewhere?)
What I like is how fast they develop something new. Paul has become a really slow writer in the last years (5-6 years per album and not much beside that), while Edie has many small projects going on. I think thats some fresh wind too for Paul... while he seems to think a year about how to improve one songline sometimes, Edie maybe stops him and says: Thats perfect. |

 | It does sound much more like Edie, but personally I think she has a lot of potential. She is very imaginative and creative, besides having a lovely voice -- much better than standard easy listening fare. |

 | This song is a routine. I try to forget fast and listen to some new, ripe and complex PS again. |
