The latest muppet movie opens with "me & julio down by the school yard". As does "the royal tenenbaums" is there a connection I wonder?

Some more musings.....
In that video with edie in a recent thread she pronounces heart "hort" . Recently I had noticed in one of Paul´s later songs he too says "hort" yet that is not he pronounces it on the hearts & bones. Is this the new Canaan accent?

There was a rock concert with BB king in the white house recently there was someone who looked very like Mark Stewart in the band.., any else see it?

If anyone is interested there is an official Paul Simon app for the iPhone and it´s free. Links into any "legit" Paul Simon music that´s on the phone.

That app is just a mobile version of the official site.

Not too sure Scatty if it is Mark, though there is a strong likeness.

All I see is a guy with long reddish hair who´s got to be at least 40 pounds heavier than Mark. Looks more like Rob Schwimmer.

Hi - not sure that this is Mark, although he has played for a previous US President.
He related the story to me after the Manchester gig last year when I asked him about his Xaphoon... He´d been playing some gig - not sure where, but it was a big do and Pres Clinton was there. After the show at the party he felt that he was being ´ignored´ (not that he was - you understand...!) Anyway he started to cheekily play the opening bars of ´Hail to the Chief´ (or it may have been just the ´Star Spangled Banner´ - as I write I cannot remember which one - but it was played cheekily on the Xaphoon)! It caught Pres Clinton´s attention (him being a sax player and all), who then came across and started to chat to Mr Stewart.

We didn´t get to see Paul after the Manchester gig - told he was whisked away in a waiting car at another exit - straight to the airport, which was a little disappointing as we´d waited for quite some time and had to drive all the way back to Newcastle. But my wife and I did get to meet and speak to many band members - and Mark was by far the most chatty.
