 | I did not think Art had attended this wedding at all. Simon had just told him that he had erased his voice on the tapes of Hearts & Bones !!! |

 | Strange question from an aficionado like me:
How come we have Hearts & Bones (the song) about Carrie & Paul breakup when they did marry in 1983 when the album was released ?
I guess it is because their relationship has always been tumultuous. Breakup, then resume, breakup, then resume, etc.
?!

 | Art/Penny, not only attended the wedding, they attended the honeymoon as well. Joining Paul/Carrie for a cruise down The Nile.
Thats what friends are for! |

 | In the radio series ´The Paul Simon Songbook´ (BBC), Art Garfunkel is p*ssed by Simon when he declared something like:
´I received a call from Paul. He told me that he had erased all my voices for the album. Then he told me that he was marrying Carrie Fisher on Saturday and asked me if I would be interested to come´.

 | It just goes to show that true friendship runs far deeper than the superficial relationships portrayed by the media.
I´m sure Art was upset at the time, but in the context of friendship, Hearts And Bones was a trivial matter... They´re friends today, after all! |

 | Paul and Art have said that they´re not just friends, they´re like family. I´m sure it hurt Art to be taken off the album, but it seems like they didn´t really stop being friends right after that.
I hate it when people say Art and Paul hate each other. Leaving Paul´s show in San Francisco last spring, I sat near this guy on the bus (who had also come from the concert) and he was talking about how Art and Paul hate each other, blah blah blah....and I was like "No they don´t!" He said, "What are you, the Simon and Garfunkel Wikipedia?" And I said, "Yeah, pretty much." Made me so mad I wanted to fight him, lol. I was pissed off about it for the rest of the night. |
