We´ve got an official DVD coming out, we´ve got Glastonbury, and the ITunes Festival.

We got Mother And Child Reunion, Gone at Last, Hearts And Bones, and a regular version of Kodachrome. We got Here Comes The Sun, Crazy Love, and earlier in the tour we got Cool, Cool River.

And at age 70, Paul played some of the longest concerts of his life.

It was fun to follow. I just wish I had gotten to Akron.

Thanks, Paul.

Don´t forget two high-quality FM broadcasts from Chicago, Illinois and Bloomington, Indiana. This tour has been very well-documented.

I haven´t listened to the Bllomington FM concert, but the Rosement FM broadcast of 13 Nov 2011 is an almost perfect recording of an almost perfect concert performance. I can stop listening to it - 2 hrs start to finish. It´s on most car CD player constantly - and have to more 3 hour drives to do the next 2 days, so I guess I´ll be listening again the next 2 days.

Scaaty, it was great fun to meet you and Gary Stewart in Cork. Other highlights of the tour where David Byrne, The Punch Brothers and Jimmy Cliff who joined Paul on stage and the unexpected Lobby show with The Punch Bros.

Paul managed to keep the tour interesting by varying the set list frequently. Over the course of ten shows, I was able to hear "So Beautiful Or So What," "Getting Ready For Christmas Day," "The Afterlife," "Dazzling Blue," Rewrite," "Love And Hard Times," "Love Is Eternal Sacred Light," "Questions For The Angels," "Graceland," "Pretty Thing," "My Little Town," "The Boxer," "Cecilia," "Cool Cool River," "Father And Daughter," and the stunning version of "Here Comes The Sun" from the second night in Minneapolis. Whether he was playing outdoors in 40-degree temperatures or in a packed bar or an ornate theater or a basketball arena, Paul Simon always delivered an outstanding show. So, thanks Paul, for making 2011 one of the most memorable years ever.

Totally amazing year, and it seems like SBOSW is on everyone´s best of 2011 list. Too bad the Grammy people didn´t have the taste to nominate him.

Or the maturity to overlook Paul´s criticism of the elimination of categories.
