what a difference being 70 compared to when Paul and Art did Bookends. I hope he comments on how it is to b 70, as I have waited to find out if and when he reached 70. This is a great day

Love and blessings to Mr. Simon and his family on his 70th brthday. May God grant to him, his beautiful young wife and four children, his brother, and other friends and family a long and happy life making beautiful music. I first heard Sounds Of Silence in 1968, and BOTW is my favorite album of all time. I have been a fan for more than 40 years,and my two grown daughters are also fans.

I received another call today from Senator Dodd´s office. They told me that Senator Dodd is going to see Paul this evening for his birthday and he wanted to joke with Paul about forgetting the words at Constitution Hall last May. Senator Dodd wanted to confirm that the name of the song was Gumboots. I responded quickly, of course, and also took the opportunity to ask the Senator to convey my happy birthday wishes on to Mr. Simon.
I will take this chance as well - Happy Birthday, and thank you for so many years of enjoyable music. I look forward to much more to come.
