Billboard is reporting that Paul is planning a new Graceland Tour in 2012 along with a new Graceland Box set which will include the recent documentary partly filmed in South Africa.

If we do a search on this forum, I am pretty sure I had this idea long ago.

After so many S&G nostalgia tours, I am glad this takes form.

Hi Rosie, did your reliable source mention if Paul was taking all his current band or just the ones that played on the Graceland tour? Thanks.

Is he just re-doing the Old Graceland tour? I mean, it was great, but that´s kinda boring. Some new angle on it would be good. It´s like if he re-did Concert In The Park with the same set-list, arrangements, clothes, stage, etc.

Paul doesn´t usually keep things the same. I would be surprised if he doesn´t mix it up a bit.

Thanks Rosie. Just wondered as when he performed the Graceland songs on July 28 in Jo´berg he only took Tony, Bathiki and I think Vince. Ray Phiri and some of the original musicians from the tour joined them on stage. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

man, that first Graceland tour was something to see though. The music sounded completely different to me than the album, much more south african, I guess you would say, and Paul seemed to be really having a great time... well, at least where I saw it (two nights in a row in Berkeley Ca) everyone seemed to be having a great time

When I first read this I thought it was a joke.

A nostalgia tour, really? What´s the point? Am I the only one who´s scratching her head?

I am confident that the songs get a makeover.

It will be great so see LBM and Paul together again. Paul and Joseph share a beautiful friendship.
