I Love Dylan... but I don´t know that he deserves a Nobel prize. I´d be cool if he did get it though.

The Nobel prize consistently fails to make much sense to people, but it´s one of those things you wouldn´t refuse if it was offered to you.

My Congratulations to Mr. Transtromer. I will make sure our library has copies of his work. Such a great honor.

Dylan aka Zimmerman would have been an odd choice; although he is quite talented, this might not have been appropriate. The other unfortunate Dylan died too young to accumulate many honors, I think.

Mike wrote that the Nobel prize "consistently fails to make much sense to people". What "peope" are you referring to? Those not interested in literature? Or does your statement imply that the wrong authors get the prize? To those interested in literature, I´d think this list makes much sense:
