Will it be televised?

Irish television is showing live sections of the events tomorrow afternoon. Paul Simon was even mentioned on the nine o´clock news!! I think he is back in favour here:)

Not forgetting the solemness of the occasion - I hope the day passes peacefully and serenely

US intelligence has already arrested - make that "detained" - alleged al Qaeda operatives in connection with a 9-11 anniversary plot.

I´ve just seen him in 9.11 anniversary celebration.
He has played SOS instead of Bridge.
Deeply thouching.

Following the ceremony, I saw him too. What a great and emotional moment ! There are ceremonies in Paris too ; impossible to forget this day.

My son wondered why Mr. Garfunkel was not there -- told him I don´t think he can sing any more. This is so sad -- remember when their first big album came out and my best friend and I lay on her bed and listened to it -- so beautiful! Ten years ago today I was cataloging library books in the basement of the library where I worked and still work. An Old friend lost his cousin, a firefighter. One cannot even imagine what it was like to see this happen in NY.

What a touching performance indeed.

PS: I wonder what he had in mind during the line "take my arms that I might reach out to you". At the end of this line his voice was cracking and he forgot to change chords... must have been a very emotional moment for him too (obviously).
