Now, as a long time concert visitor - would you change YCCMA for the Vietnam/Mother And Child Reunion double?

Mother and Child reunion is definately a great song...but I would not miss Vietnam a lot. Paul maybe erased that one because Vietnam isn´t that important in Europes history... I remember that I thought in Dublin: It is a little bit weird do sing Vietnam...Vietnam...Vietnam in Ireland.

No! YCCMA is more important, especially as The Boxer for the first time ever in his concerts, but also Bridge and Mrs. Robinson are gone this time.

But Jimmy Cliff was the first great Reggae singer, long before Bob Marley. And Jimmy sang better than Bob Marley.
Marley had many rivers to cross to become the reggae symbol.

The first Reggae Hit was "The Israelites" by Desmond Dekker, but it was a one hit wonder.

Paul was the first white musician with a Reggae Hit, topped in terms of success by Eric Clapton`s "I shot the sheriff" two years later.

But if he intends to bring back a black Reggae-Star into memory, Jimmy Cliff is the right choice!

I´d much prefer hear Vietnam/Mother And Child Reunion over YCCMA. Almost sick of Al at this stage and he seems fed up singing it too. I Love his cover of Vietnam but I noticed a slight lyrics change, in Cliff´s version he sings "..my time will be up sometime in June" and Paul sings "..my tour will be up sometime next june" but I think sometimes he sings "this June" Not important.. just something I noticed
