I feel sorry for Paul Simon having to cancle shows due to bad throat. I hope he can rest it and recover to his best soon.
Does this mean he maight consider retireing as in recent interviews it was stated that the next Simon and Garfunkel Shows if they hapen will be the fairwel shows.
At almost 70 will Paul still cary on or pass the torch on to Harper instead. It would be a shame if he stopped performing and recording.
What do you all think. Thanks for reading.

 | Nick , Anyone can have a throat infection. Nothing to do with his age. He did made a very quick recovery and his voice is sounding pretty good again to me. I think he will keep touring and performing as long as he can and wants to. The Farewell S and G shows ,if they ever eventuate, may be more final because of Art"s voice not Paul´s. He really seems to be enjoying this tour. Hope he never retires! |

 | I think you don´t have to worry too much Nick, Paul mentioned in several interviews that his health and voice are in good condition, he is very happy with his life and wants to make music and record as long as he can. I don´t think he will retire anytime soon. This tour proves how much everyone still loves him and his music, he also has a lot of younger fans.
