Many postive words about the new album is said in media, but not to forget Paul Simons album from Roots to Surprise, there are many good songs who I feld is littel forgoten this days. The last album I Love it butI love Surprise too and Yto is an album whit many great songs maybe a littel bit from Surprise and the wew but close.

Yes,I agree Pelle. We should never forget what a wonderful album Surprise is. If that album had been released by a up and coming 25 year Old songwriter,the media would claim it to be the work of an exceptional talent. The same can be said of most of Paul Simon´s albums. As critically lauded as he often is,I still consider him underrated.

Yes I agree 100% as well - he remains underrated. For his musical innovation alone he is superior to Dylan.

Also agree that Surprise should have been better received - I recall it was quite well reviewed (although not as favourably as the new one) but just didn´t sell well. I liked the fact that Rob Thomas was recently quoted as saying it was the best ablum of 2006 and couldn´t understand why it was not atleast nominated for a Grammy.

I´m a bit dissappointed that no YTO or Surprise songs have made it into the current show.
