I uploaded the picture of what appears to be an outlay for a DVD record from Webster Hall in the pictures section.
The folks on the Bruce Springsteen board made me aware of this (http://www.backstreets.com/btx --- the "Loose Ends forum") And one of the posters said he heard that the concert was recorded as part of a PBS special on the 25th Anniversary of Graceland.
In 2000 I was in Paris at one of the concerts that was recorded for DVD (You´re the one - tour). At the entrance of the Olympia concert hall there was a clear message that there was a recording. Going in meant that one approved being filmed as concert audience.
I read that it was being recorded by PBS for a "Graceland" 25th anniversary special.
Too bad. He really should have recorded some of the shows on this tour for a live DVD & double live CD release. It´s been too many years since a DVD (11 yrs.) & even more since a live album (20 yrs.).

Update: a guy on dime has it directly from the promoter that Paul will release a live DVD comming from the Webster hall show and other club shows on this tour.
Someone on Dime posted "I have it directly from the promoter that Paul is releasing a live DVD culled from this show and from the other club shows."
Would be fantastic if it was 2 disc set with the Webster show on one disc and then random performances on the other disc - maybe from other shows, SNL, Glastonbury etc.
Realistic: a DVD/Blue Ray with around 22 songs (1-2 missing), and no extras.
Dream: What you say.
But hey, people are singin on stage this time, so we can expect everything. I am really happy that a new DVD will come out. I Love watching concert videos...you know, most of the time you have a much better sound and view than beeing at the show. And you can watch it again and again.

Hi Bodo, I agree with you 110%. For example, the Blu Ray of Billy Joel´s Shea shows is almost better than the experience itself of being out there in 98 degree weather.
I felt as though the Merriam shows sounded so good that it was actually like being inside of a Palladia concert you see on cable

I was also stunned by the great sound at the Merriam Theater. It was, in my opinion, even better than the legendary Massey Hall in Toronto.
I REALLY wish that he was filming & recording the shows in the small theaters. There is less crowd noise & the sound is better (at least it was at the two theaters I was at- Massey Hall in Toronto & Merriam Theater in Philly compared to the two clubs- Sound Academy in Toronto & Webster Hall in NYC).
I also REALLY, REALLY hope for BOTH a live DVD AND a live double CD!! And finally, I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hope that he goes all out & includes, at least on the CD, as many songs as possible from the tour. He performed well over 30 different songs, and I hope he packs as many on the play list of each CD as possible. I´ve heard close to all of them, and I couldn´t think of any I´d cut.
THIS TOUR REALLY DESERVES A LIVE DVD & DOUBLE LIVE CD!!!
I was talking to Jim Oblon and he told me that Webster Hall was recorded for PBS and the itunes festival will be available to watch on itunes but there´s no official dvd of this tour
Who is Jim Oblon? Man there REALLY should be an official DVD of this tour!!!! NOT TO MENTION A DOUBLE LIVE CD!!
Look at how great those situations worked for Leonard Cohen with his last tour...so well that they followed up the double live "Live In London" CD/DVD with another singe CD/DVD "Songs From The Road".
Shoot with how many songs Paul´s performed he could do a very long double CD/DVD, or run the Cohen route. It´s REALLY too bad if they miss this opportunity.
People are just blown away by this tour & I think it would help him on every level to do this!!!

Oops...never mind...Google is your friend.
Paul usually introduced him as "The Kid" at the shows I saw. Amazingly talented, and I promise not to forget his name anytime soon!!!
Paul ALWAYS has good bands backing him,but would you guys agree that the current line-up is about as good as it gets? I´ve only seen the videos on YouTube etc,but the sound they, and Paul make,is simply sublime! Mark Stewart is an incredible band just on his own. I agree with linkclink, that they should release as much of this tour´s setlists as they can on dvd,blu-ray,and compact disc.

My theory is, as long as an official recording was made, it´s only a matter of time before it begins to circulate among fans.
Take "Simon & Garfunkel Live at the Hollywood Bowl" for example. I can see why it was never officially released (technical problems) but it would have been a sin to never share it with anyone, as most of the performance and on-stage banter is pure gold.
I look forward to someday hearing official recordings from this tour as well as many of the other tours that have been both video and audio recorded. Only a matter of time.
Hey, Guys. My name is Victor. Me and my dad went to this concert. we were directly in front of Paul the entire time up front. It was fantastic to be that close. I would enjoy a DVD of this concert as well. it would be fantastic!!
Here is my review I did after the concert, with a set list as well. enjoy!
