 | Ken Bruce is playing the album as his ´album of the week´ - just caught the end of Dazzling Blue today. He´s playing tracks everyday. His show is on 09.30 to 12.00 UK time. I also heard Rewrite being played on Sunday´s Terry Wogan show.

 | I think after so many repeated listenings, I can attest that Dazzling Blue is my favorite track from the new album.
So nice, soft, amazing, well-sung, mix between india percu & bluegrass.
In terms of lyrics, it is Thelma, take 2, given that this is another song for Edie.
But as I mentionned, the live version sounds flat unfortunately. We are missing Dowle Lawson and his gang ! Play some violon Mark, do something man ! |

 | I rather liked the live performance, although I agree, the bluegrass in the background really adds to the appeal of the song. Paul´s strumming was my favorite part of the live version, as he mixed it up quite a lot.
The recordings we do have of the concerts do make the song sound flat though, but what can be done?
I´m still crossing my fingers for a soundboard recording or official release from this tour... |
