Did I miss that, or is it really news?
Looks like as if there are really some extra dates to come...

 | Good for him to go back to Israel...Did he go there on the Graceland Tour? If not it´s the first show there since ´78 |

 | It´s his first solo show in Israel since ´78, but he also gave a concert with Art Garfunkel in ´83. :)
I´m so excited! It is going to be my first time to see him in real.
I hope for all the other fans that more dates will follow (: |

 | Going to be in Israel around that time but unfortunately flying out to San Francisco on the 21st. July. I hope that there will be another concert before then. Actually I would like to say Hello to Paul. In 1965 during his London stay, I was dating a guy who was Paul´s agent. His name was Graham Wood. So I met Paul on quite a few occasions. Remembering, the times- - - Ready Steady Go, Cambridge Folk Festival and many times he sang at the folk clubs. I have been a fan of his for a long time and would Love to shake his hand and tell him how much we all enjoy his music. |

 | Today Paul Simon arrived at Israel, and attended a press conference in Tel Aviv.
There is a video from the press confrence in the israeli news site Ynet News. The site is in Hebrew, the media player is conspicuous though, so just click at the middle of it (note: there is an ad in the begining):
http://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-4098033,00 .html
Furthermore, an interview from the Second channel news (with narration in Hebrew):

Can´t wait!
And for everyone who´s going - enjoy! (: |

 | Ok, 2 things about this video
http://www.mako.co.il/music-Magazine/articles/Arti cle-9f5788619141131006.htm
a) They seem to be living in the PAST only. Did they realize it is a Paul Simon concert and not a Simon and Garfunkel show? I found that very strange. This guy who made the interview was maybe a pure S&G fan and did not want to hear ANY other song. Does he even know Paul Simons music?
b) Paul seems to have no idea what the audience wants to hear (?) I mean, what would you expect as the result for a voting - Bridge, SOS, Boxer, Mrs. Robinson and those songs... such votings are not including surprising moments.
His setlist is good, and I hope the press and audience realize that. |

 | I totally agree Bodo. Hope they enjoy the show.
More, I read on the web that the stadium is about 45 000 seats ! |

 | 45000? oh!
Maybe He can cut Mark Stewart´s hairs a little and try to make him more similar to AG.
Anyway, it´s strange to see him so kind speaking once again of S&G time. |

 | @Bodo: What do you mean with extra shows. I can´t read anything about that in this article. |

 | @Bjoern: This message has been written months before. The shows in Istanbul and Israel have been added later to the tour scedule. So at this time there where extra shows. |
