 | In New Zealand-Australia we get our own edition of Rolling Stone magazine.
This April 28th article titled PAUL SIMON´s RESTLESS JOURNEY is in our latest issue (August 2011).
I have a box full of magazine articles dating back to mid 1970´s. This article is the best on Paul Simon I have ever read. It is thoughtfully researched and written and give insights into Paul Simon (the music and the man) that go way beyond anything I have read elsewhere. It is based on interviews with Paul (recent - for this article), plus drawing additional comments from the likes of Paul McCartney, Randy Newman, Donald Fagan(Steely Dan), Neil Diamond, Lorne Michaels, Phillip Glass, and Art GArfunkel.
This is a must have for any Paul Simon fan. Brenda, make sure you go get a copy (if you haven´t already).
Also on NZ magazine shelves is the MOJO July 2011 issue with interview with Paul Simon.

 | I think you are right Gerard. Really enjoyed a lot this article ! I had the chance to be in the US when it appears (RS is released with some lateness in Canada !), and read it in a Nashville Hotel room. A very privileged moment...I just swam into this article !!! |

I see the German August edition...it has a ´Review´ section with Paul Simon and Björk articles...but I am not sure if this is the same?
They seem to have different articles, on the august cover is Bono, 20 years ago. |
