No Hearts & Bones and The Afterlife ? Don´t like me. I aprecciate that this time he includes a lot of covers ( all avalaible covers ) but The Afterlife never must out of the set ( same for Hearts And Bones ) IMO.

So far, at least, these appear to be the songs that are getting shuffled in & out of the setlist on any given night...done on an album by album basis, solo albums, S & G albums, covers, & songs that were just singles...So I´m counting about 29 songs (feel free to let me know if I missed any), and his set list seems to be somewhere around 24-26 a night...so except that he´ll not be playing 3-5 of these on any given night...which is part of why I´m seeing him 4 times this tour.
I mean at the low prices he´s charging ($50-60 for the club shows, for an 8 piece band- incredible) I´m doing the extra club shows in both towns I´m traveling to (could hardly do that with Paul McCartney), & while I´d be glad to see a few shows anyhow, having a bit of a change-up in the set list certainly adds to the appeal for me.
I also think we might see some things added as the tour rolls on ("Darling Lorraine" has been mentioned, etc.).

I think/thought he might play questions for the angels.
So far ´Love and blessings´ is the only song with lyrics from the new album he never played. I like that one vey much, but I see it is not perfect for a live concert.

Well, I guess at least on the European leg he will change the setlist at 1-2 songs again, but I hope that all new songs and H&B will stay on the list.

I´d Love to hear him do "Amulet" segueing into "Questions For The Angels" live, just like it is on the album itself. To me that quick cut from track #7 to track #8 works perfectly and is one of the breathtaking most perfect moments on the album.
I think he eventually will do "Questions For The Angels" live, he´s done it before, same thing with "Amulet"- I´d just love to hear them semi-combined.
I´m also REALLY hoping that he takes this opportunity of small venues, a brilliant new album & an ambitious set list to consider a 2 CD live album to be released from this tour. A new live solo album is long overdue to say the least- "Live Rhymin´" in ´74, 17 years later "The Concert In The Park" in ´91, and now 21 years after that if it´s released in 2012 a new live 2 CD set. Love to see that happen!! In the meantime there´s been loads of live McCartney albums, and both new & a few archived Old Simon & Garfunkel live releases. The band is great, the time is ripe, how about a live album from this tour!!

Thanks for the link to the LA concert review, very positive review (as has been the case for all reviews so far), but I must say I enjoyed your personal review much more. Thank you for sharing.

Have a feeling. I think we may see a bit of evolution in the setlist.

It´s the 25th anniversary of Graceland. I´m thinking the song will show up at some point.

I was surprised at the exclusion of Boxer, ´cause it´s become such a big sing along. But I get that he´s really doing no S&G (SOS existed before S&G, and OLB was really a Simon solo). But betcha dollars to donuts, we get Graceland before the end of the tour.

I think he will stick to this setlist. Do not expect "new songs" showing up during the tour. It´s even new, that he changes the setlist almost daily at least a little bit. So I still wish he would play more of his own songs instead of all the covers he does. Looking forward to seeing him live again soon.

I just came back from the show in Temecula and posted a setlist in that section. It was very much similiar to the show in Los Angeles on 21 April.

Great show with a fantastic band but no "Gettin´ Raady", No "Mother And Child Reunion" and no "The Afterlife". I would also would have liked to hear Love & Blessings which is one of my favorites from the new album. I guess I´m a little disapointed.....but it was in a great setting and amazing band. Paul was in good form.

Favortie was probably "That Was Your Mother" which really got the crowd on their feet. I would love for Paul Simon to do a zydeco-inspired album, would be amazing!
