 | I´m pleased to share my feelings with you after Brussels and Paris shows :
Great show in Brussels ; PS and the band were in good mood, often laughing on stage ; sound was not perfect, mainly at the begining and security men completely stressed ; so, we can just move and dance a little just in front of our seat but impossible to go close to the stage (and, we were in the first front row !!!). But a great show ! Yes, he talked about Forest building and his relationship with Edie but there was too another great human moment (I think) when a disabled young girl was dancing close to the stage : security men didn´t move and Paul, at the end of his song, said something as "I appreciated you´re dancing".
Paris´s show was different : very good mood too and very good sound. Great atmosphere and, about at the middle of the show, we were close to the stage, taping on it with percussions, moving, dancing, singing. Of course, PS and the band were excellent too and laughed seeing how we enjoyed. Steve Shehan join the band, close to J. Haddad, but only for "Late In The Evening".
Before the show, in a commercial gallery, we met M. Rossi and thank him for his work in Brussels. He was surprised but happy and, we laughed, he didn´t remember where he was.... so, we answered that he was in Paris !!! After, when we go in the room to join our seat, we were surprised to see Mark Stewart, sitting, talking with another man. We laughed whith him, telling him that he had to go to work for us now... !
Setlist was the same as in London, except that they began with ´Boy in the bubble´ and performed "crazy Love" later.
And I can say, without any doubt : GREAT GREAT GREAT CONCERTS !!!!!! |

 | Thanks for your nice review Mireille. Glad you had a great time in Paris, dancing, singing etc.
I am looking forward to tonight at NSJ Rotterdam, curious what Paul will play there as the setlist will be shorter.

 | I am still glad that I was able to visit the Dublin show. Securtiy was really in good mood - and of course we stand all the time. In the end he said we had to stop taking pictures because we flash into Pauls eyes...what was strange, because I never use flash anyway and only made 5-6 pictures during the show. I do not like to watch half of the concert trough my camera ;)
I would be a little bit afraid now of visiting another show where I had to sit (first...or longer), thats why I am not really interested in going to Hamburg or Milan, although the tickets are so good. |

 | I just came back from the Rotterdam show. It was superb. Earlier this week I was in Brussels where I had a seat somewhere high on the blacony. That was great too, but where I was the sound was not that good and I felt I missed some of the atmosphere they had near the stage. (people seemed a little tame, didn´t even stand up for the last encore)
So today I came in early and stood on the front row. The setlist was the same I think as in Glastonbury except he ended with Late In The Evening instead of Al. He played for an hour and 15 minutes.
Paul and the band members where in a good mood. Paul seemed to enjoy himself very much, smiled a lot and even posed for someones camera. |

 | I had a great time tonight. The concert was standing and seating at the back and both sides. I stood in the front row together with my friend Susanne from Germany. Jos, my husband sat in the back. There were big screens where you could see the concert and they showed shots from the audience. Now comes the funny part, Jos could see me on the big screen, he saw that I made eye contact with Paul. Once when Paul came up to the front, I made a thumbs up gesture and he smiled at me. At the end of the concert I waved and smiled at him and he smiled and waved back. The setlist was superb, the atmosphere was superb, Paul and the band enjoyed themselves, lot´s of smiling on stage. Off to bed now :)

This really proves that some criticisms are really stupid. Here they say that Pauls voice is bad compared to his earlier days, while in Brussels I heard him sing with the best voice in the 12 times that I heard him and the first time was February 1 1987, in Ahoy bye the way. They call him non inspiring, ???. The person who wrote this certainly thougt beforehand that a 69 year Old performer would not be able to give great concerts. And while warching Paul did not want to admit that he was wrong on beforehand. This person did not understand anything of Pauls music. I can´t imagine Pauls voice was bad in Ahoy or was it? |
