 | I know of a collector of S&G-Paul Simon bootlegs who has seemingly EVERYTHING ever recorded, bootleg wise. The problem here is that if someone has EVERYTHING, how do we swap anything with him? If I sent any of you a copy of this list, like me, it would blow your mind! It is so detailed and accurate that is seen by me to be the Simon and Garfunkel collectors bible. It is literally a catalogue. There are several concerts that I would Love to own....but alas, no luck in trading. The only logical way to get around this is to buy them...but do traders sell their boots??
Anyone any ideas? |

 | Sofar as I know they don´t.
It´s great to have a collection like him. But when you have everything you can´t trade anymore which is a pity because there will always be new fans who start to collect.
But maybe you can trade with him some bootlegs from another artist he likes but then you have to be so lucky to have just that bootleg he likes.
So it´s very difficult IMO.

 | Yes, Ans, it is a difficult one. I have quite a large collection, yet small in comparison to being completist. By the way, does anyone in the forum have an interest in trading S&G/PS bootlegs? It could be of mutual interest to all of us.
I just got the S&G Washington concert off Bodo...great site by the way....I have many boots from "Chez-65" up to the recent tour. eg,

 | Hi BingFrisby, that sounds very interesting, but my collection is not very big.
Are you signed in in the fan database on this site? You seem like a big fan.
We could exchange our e-mailadress. Maybe we could make a trade, but again I don´t have a long list. |

 | Hi everybody!
I´m also very interested in setting up trades for S & G and PS stuff. I´m fairly new to this , but I have around 20 titles with them plus about the same with some other artists (Leonard Cohen, Springsteen, Nick Cave...). If you are interested write your e-mail here, and I will send you a mail. Thomas, I´ll send you a mail right now, hope that´s ok. |

 | Considering that we ALL want bootlegs, why don´t we trade on this site ?
We can trade in flac format (no quality loss) maybe we have to split a bootleg into two parts...but that should not be a problem...i think 3 or 4 days should be enough for everyone to download, then we can upload other files.
Bodo, what do you think ? |
