 | I just came back from the Eric Clapton concert....it was a wonderful show.
Guess who played the drums...it was Steve Gadd. I had no idea about that until I recognised him on the screen...
He did, as well as Eric, a great job that evening ! |

 | Oh that´s cool to hear he is on tour again with Clapton.
But so he isn´t in studio with Paul I guess... or is Paul not in the studio working on the new album at the time? :-O
I hope *g*
Gadd is on nearly all tours with Clapton since several years now... and I think Clapton may be also his favourite partner at the moment. Wasn´t Gadd on tour with Clapton in 2001 and Paul had to hire another drummer for his summer tour... I think. |

 | No.
But... uhm... actually: Yes. Because the drummer of the unplugged concert is Steve Ferrone.
So it is a Steve, but not Steve Gadd :o) |

 | No unplugged is a long time ago (1992 I think)
But Steve already played with Clapton at the ´Clapton and Friends´ show im MSG 1999 |

 | Hello Kuno,
Were you in Zürich? I was there to and it was so great! I don´t know if I can say it here (don´t worry I´m a big fan of Paul), but it was the greatest show I´ve ever heard or seen.
And great supporting act by Robert Randolph And The Family Band. |

 | Yes I was in Zurich (I live there).
The show was really great, but I think Eric was not in a very good mood that evening. He played wonderful, but he did not say one single word to the audience....
Even Paul is more friendly to the audience then Eric was that evening.
But after all, it was a great show !

 | I was in the first row, a few metres from him and he was so often joking and smiling to his great musicians that he must have had some pleasure.
Anyway I´m a big fan of Bob Dylan : so I´m accustomed to singers, that are not very expressive...
