 | I´m working on a new design of the whole site.
I don´t want to say too much, just:
I don´t make a flash site :-)
There will be 1 main page and the other pages will be displayed in a small frame inside this page. The sub-sub pages when you click on a link will then be openend in a new window.
I´m thinking of installing a background sound for the main page which will be played for 1 time. It´s not a midi, a small MP3 with part´s of one of Paul´s songs. But I´m not sure if everyone would like that.
And I don´t use red and yellow longer :-) |

 | Yes, I like the idea of a background sound.
Do you want too change the songs from time too time? and maybe it´s an idea too use some rare songs like carlos domingues or so.

 | Thanks!
At the time I´ve created a small soundfile of "Under African Skies"
The problem is that the file should be very small, so it´s high compressed - and on high compressed files only instrumental songs sounds good. (voice would be horrible)
But I think that song fit´s perfect to the new design then.
I´m just having some technical difficulties - preloading the images and sound so that everything fit´s to the animations...not so easy.

 | This is a great site, Bodo. Really like the music section especially. Will be even more impressed if you get that song to work.

 | This is an excellent site
Thank you so much
We don´t get a lot of Paul Simon in Australia - just big stuff
I´ve been a fan since I was 12 - will be 45 next month |

 | Welcome here!
So, did you see Paul when he last toured Australia? Think that was back in 1991 or? Really long time ago....he should start another world tour. |

 | LOL, you don't believe it... but at first I thought this was a new thread. Then I read about the background sound and the Under African Skies file and I thought to myself "Huh, haven't I read that years ago ?"
I then checked the date and realised that it's indeed a very old thread.
Umbelieveable that I still had that information stored somewhere in my brain. I am very intersted in natural sciences and every now and then, when something like this happens, I'm again amazed about what the human brain is capable of.
I just had to share that with you, even if it's probably offtopic... |

  | You know that was my intention ;-)
But it is really fun to read those very old threads... those are many years now - everything is different but nothing has changed at all.
