 | Hi, I have the bootlege Hearts And Bones album that was supposed to be for Simon and Garfunkel. I was wondering if there is any live S&G performances of "Train In The Distance" "Hearts and Bones" or "Allergies". If someone can help me, I will be in your debt. Thank you guys so much.

 | How is the bootleg ?
I have in my files four H&B songs from the S&G tour in the early 1980. I have always found them horrible. Cars Are Cars is still an embarassement.
Thank God that they never made that record together. S&G´s reputation remained pristine and they left at their pinnacle. |

 | The Bootleg is basically the same as the original, except Garfunkels voice in "Song About The Moon" and some lyric changes in "When Numbers Get Serious" Other then that, the album is essentially the same. |

 | mog which songs do you have? I´ve got Cars Are Cars and Think Too Much.
TTM wasn´t that bad, but Cars are Cars was indeed awful.

 | The arrangements are different on ´Art & Bones´... similar, but not quite the same. It´s clear that Arty´s vocals were not ´wiped´ per-se, but the whole thing was re-recorded by Paul.
I have heard some dreadful live recordings where the guys didn´t seem to know what each other was doing throughout the song. I´m glad it happened as it did.
I Love Hearts & Bones. |

 | Yes,´Cars Are Cars´ live isn´t too good. ´Think too Much´ though,on the recording I´ve heard is,apart from an initial lyric mishap, pretty cool. The band did a good job of re-creating the studio arrangements. I´ve got to say that the concert I saw of that tour in 1983 in Brisbane, was one of the best shows I´ve ever attended, and the version of ´Allergies´ was really great, even though I didn´t know the song of course. If there was recording of that show,I´d be in seventh heaven. |

 | Garfunkel never sang his vocals to Allergies, so it´s not on the bootleg. |

 | Here´s the mp3 for ´Think Too much, Live in Vancouver, 1983´. The both mess up, it´s hillarious... Enjoy.

 | Yes, I have trouble too with the excessive fans section.
I can share Allergies, Cars Are Cars, and Song About The Moon if they are not already in the section already. |

 | I did used to have a bootleg tape of H&B and it still had Artie on it. No idea what happened to the tape though. It´s possible that my Old tape deck ate it :(
It was interesting to listen too though and I still think Paul did the right thing. I think the album sounds better with just Paul. |
