I think I hadn´t the occasion to thank for all your effort - so please accept my gratitude for what you have done with this site.
Now: is there a possibility to delete a posting or to edit it - if not days after it was posted, let´s say in a few hours, or at least before anyone answered it?

Not for the users, but there are a few admins who are allowed to do that. Maybe you just ask in the forum to delete the messages, and they will do that in a few hours/minutes.
