 | Can anyone tell me if Paul is planing on a new album?
I guess with a new song like Love in Hard Times, Paul might be thinking about recording it... |

 | Having heard Paul Simon sing with Wyclef Jean on the song "Fast Cars", I think Wyclef could be a great choice as producer of Paul´s next album, especially considering his background in Haitian music, which is showcased on his own "Creole 101" album. Just like Paul himself, Wyclef is a masher of styles, too, which is clearly noticeable in his solo work, with the Fugees and productions he´s done for other pop artists like "Black Betty" for Tom Jones, "Hide Away" for Mick Jagger, "Dancing Lessons" for Sinead O´Connor, "Angel" for Simply Red and "Hips Don´t Lie" for Shakira.
With such a collaboration, there would be a chance for Paul of a crossover into the RNB market, too, which might make sense from a business point of view.
I´d Love to hear them record more songs together. |
