 | you know when in a moment of passion a guy says I Love you forever ... he says it as a "love song", the girl thinks it is "negotiations" and holds him to it forever! |

 | I always took it to mean that where once there were Love songs, there are now negotiations over a broken relationship & a child... 2 disappoined believers, 2 people playing the game... |

 | All it means is that Love Songs are often mistaken for Negotiations (arguments) |

 | Why are the Love Songs mistaken? Is that possible at all?
Or do you mean that Negotiations mustn´t (or must if they aren´t) be present in Love Songs??
What is the mistake in love songs? Is this a real mistake (if there are some)?
Sorry, but i don´t catch it, maybe you could explain it in a simplier way? |

 | It´s really is about the fine line between emotions. you can go from one to another and not realise untill it´s too late. This is why they´re often mistaken for one and the same. You tell yourself you´re experiencing something, but it´s really something else. |

 | Oh, and the ´Mistake´ part of ´Mistaken´ is an example of the minefield that is the English language. It means ´Confused´ or ´Taken For´ in this sense. |

 | When I`m singing: `Don`t you I know I Love you`, she can think: `The message is I shouldn`t go with my friend to Barcelona.` And maybe she`s right. (Academic example of course.) |

 | In Train In The Distance - ´disagreements have begun´ means that not enough negotiation took place, each person in the relationship wanted their own way.
By the last verse they have negotiated. He makes her laugh and she cooks a meal or two.
For a Love song to be possible there have to be negotiations.
So if you hear a love song it will be as a result of negotiation.
Therefore, Negotiations And Love Songs are often mistaken for one and the same. |
