Bodo,
Thank you for the information that PS will be playing at the American Tunes show at BAM. I have my tickets for the April 24 show and I will be flying from the US Virgin Islands to see the show, so I am really glad he will be playing! I hope to meet some of the folks from this site.

This will mark 41 years of seeing Paul Simon in concert for me!

yes Ans I got my tickets yeah, there were problems with the website this morning (NY time) and I didn´t get a chance to try until 10 this evening (5pm NY time) just as I was about to get the tickets the network wnt down. but has just got back so I got sunday 6th Capeman row G. I think Paul will be in attendance for some of the show and you never know he might wander among the audience to get a reaction:-). So you´ll be going to 2 of the shows thats great - will you be in New York for long then?

Congratulations!
I had the same problem with the site, sat ready behind the computer at 10am NY time ;-), tried it several times and got contact about an half hour later, although the site was very slow I managed to book the tickets.

We will be in New York from april 11 till april 24 but between the two shows we will visit Washington for a few days. We were already thinking for a long time to visit these 2 city´s, wanted to do it early this summer or autumn but Paul made the decision for us...;-) and now we kill two birds with one stone :)

Thats a great idea! You lucky thing, I Love to see the UAS show, but I´ll have to make do with the DVD. At least between the 2 of us we´ll cover the complete event. Enjoy!

its just another proverb relating to birds - who would want to hold a bird? when they are much happier in their bushes

Hm, okay, but I do not understand it´s second meaning..or when do you use it? Maybe I need a german translation.

In german we also do not kill 2 birds with a stone ;) we kill 2 flies with a swatter... and somehow this makes a little bit more sense to me, because I can do it in reality ;)
