There was a review of the Los Angeles concert in one of the Sunday papers by Patrick Humphries. It said that European dates are "under consideration".

consideration?

LOL my translator programm gives me a few very different translations for that word:
(I will try to translate it in other words)

1. they (S&G) will think about them (dates)

2. they have already agreed to sign conctracts

3. [the best one] they will play for a very low amount of money :-P

LOL

Ok what is the right translation? (hope it´s number 3!!! ;-)

Well I did here on Radio 2 on Sunday something like that. Micheal Parkinson said that Simon & Garfunkel ARE going to be touring again after 20 years.

I really hope these rumours amount to something, I´ve been saving my pennies for a while just in case they come to Europe!

If Art apparently cancelled some of his solo dates in May, then I assume if they were to tour at all it would be then (in that case, hopefully less chance of getting colds!)

I´m almost sure they will come to europe. And here´s the reason why: I flew to NY in 1999 to see Paul on tour with Dylan. I thougth this would probably the last time seeing him live on tour. One year later he showed up in Hamburg Germany. This time I flew down all the way to Vegas... so the will come to Europe next year for sure!

Well... but when I follow your logic then he comes without Garfunkel - as without Dylan ;-)

Yep, and then he also toured with Brian Wilson in the US and came to Europe alone...Time to break this pattern I think ;-)

Well I wouldn´t mind if he came alone and bring his 14p band with him. A Paul Simon solo show is musicaly much more impressive than a S&G show. Hey I loved the S&G show but Pauls solo shows just blow you away...!

Yes but most of us have never seen S&G live so that´s a very good argument, too ;-)
