 | Has someone ever seen the star for Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel on the Hollywood walk of fame? Is there maybe a picture somewhere... when did they receive this star?
Don´t you think it would be time for a solo star for Paul also...? |

that´s a pity - but I think they don´t want to have a star.

| And then I´ve read in several newsgroups that nowadays these stars are only a publicity thing anymore - everyone who has to announce a new big project ´buys´ his star to be in the media for some days.
-examples:
these 2 twin-sisters got also a star now, and they have a new movie to promote
Billy Joel got his star - and he has to promote his own musical
Queen got a star last year - because they have to promote their musical in Vegas
The really bad thing about these stars is that you can buy them... for 15.000 $ (yes you have to be famous too...), so as long as Paul will not buy one for himself, he will not get this thing ;-) And I guess he isn´t very interested in spending this amount for a star ;-)...hey, this guy has 4 children (and maybe has to buy a lot of marijuana in the future for then ;-) )

 | I live in Southern California and have been to the Hollywood walk of fame many (TOO MANY) times. I have never seen their star there. |
