 | I was reading the thread about Simon never doing Senortia With a necklace of tears live. How about coming up with a list of all the other songs, self written, that he has never been known to perform on stage?I am struggling already!! |

 | Bodo had something similar to this on an older version of this site, it had many songs that hadn´t been played in the last ten years or so and you could vote for ehich you would most like to hear on the next tour.
I think the idea was to send it to Paul´s office becuase a similar one was sent asking him to play in Europe and he did! (how much was because of the petition I don´t know but some of the venues people suggested were played at... Like Miriam´s in Frankfurt was 1 and some suggested Edinburg Castle and someone the Liverpool pops fesival and so on)
I think the top 3 turned out ot be "All Around The World (Or the Myth of Fingerprints)", "Bernadette" and "Rene And Georgette Magritte With Their Dog After The War"
I think Paul could play at least one capeman song in his show! |

 | Hm, - what did Miriam suggest in Frankfurt?I don´t understand that. The venue? My opinion is that even Paul hasn´t 100% input on the venues. For every country they have a concert management company which is searching for the best venue and I think they later sign a contract with Paul´s management. But I´m sure they can´t say "We want to play in Edinburgh, Kilkenny and Montreux and Lucca..."
The tour and venues are planed on "where is a free concert hall at this time/date"
I´ve sent the list to Paul´s office - we even send a fax LOL
But I never got an answer.
He didn´t play any of the top 3 songs so I would say they ignored it. However Joey Berger wrote me when I started this poll - and he wanted me to stop it. I never understood his reasons (he wrote something like that the people in Paul´s office know about our longins..and thats it), he later didn´t reply so I also didn´t stop it.
Paul is sometimes such a yellow and huffy person (while he pretends that he isn´t and he´s just doing only things he likes) - because he isn´t playing any Capeman songs live. The people would Love to hear it, but he is doing all the best to erase the time periode between 1994 - 1998. (and also the OTP album - he never plays any of these great songs except Late In The Evening)
Only because some critics said it was a flop. |

 | Bodo, just curious: DID you stop the poll at Joey´s request?
And what is his relation to Paul Simon/ the paul Simon office?

 | No I didn´t stop it. He didn´t reply again.
I don´t have a clue what his realtion to the office is, I guess his relation is better than he let us know. |

 | That´s what I think too!
Wasn´t it him when we talked about the location of Pauls house in Montauk ( you know, the satellite pics ) who reacted so angry about that?
Here´s a nice thought: "Joey"is in fact Paul....LOL |

 | Well, returning to Bingfrisbys original theme for this tread:
Without doing any deep background search, I dont think he has ever played:
Learn How To Fall
Think too Much (b)
Stranded In A Limousine
- am I right?
All songs that I like very much and wouldn´t mind having in a live edition... |
